Will you be calling from a landline
where you pay the local bill? Are
you open to having a new long distance carrier? If so, one of
our 1+ long distance services is what you are looking for. Or,
a "bundled" offering of local and long distance services
might be the best deal for you. If so, you'll get a single bill
from one company for both your local and long distance phone
service.
Will you be using a service from a phone
where you pay the local bill but don't want to change your long
distance carrier? Do you pay a
high rate for in-state calling? In this case, a dial-around service
makes sense. When you want to use the dial-around, you will dial
an access number. The computer system there will recognize you
as a customer and allow you to place your call. If you just pick
up your phone and dial your call directly, you will be using
your present long distance carrier. If you program the dial-around
access number into the speed dial of your telephone, you can
use the dial-around service with just a touch. A dial-around
can also be a low cost solution for international calling from
your cell phone.
Do you need to make calls away from
home? Our calling card products
are right for you. There are two basic types of calling cards.
You may be familiar with pre-paid calling cards. You spend a
fixed amount of money and the value of the card reduces as you
use it. Some pre-paid cards have connection fees or service fees
and billing increments may vary. Be sure you understand the details
of any pre-paid card before purchasing.
A billable or post-paid calling card is
similar to your home long distance service in that you are billed
monthly for your usage. Billable cards will charge your usage
directly to your major credit card. A nice feature of billable
cards is that they do not expire. Instead of a fixed upfront
purchase and variable minutes, with a billable card you have
fixed rate per minute and your monthly total will vary by usage.
How do you place an order? We've designed our site to be self-service. You
can place your order online anytime, day or night. Our order
pages use secure servers and a high level of encryption to protect
your personal information. Our long distance services require
your social security number on the application. This is to verify
your identity and to perform a credit check. Your information
will only be used for this purpose. For services that bill to
your credit card, you will need to enter your major credit card
information. Some will ask for the CID number. This is a 3 digit
number that is contained in the signature area of the card. Providing
this number ensures that you are the holder of the card.
